Same Power 50 announcement, superior content, exclusive networking and dynamic speakers…virtually
TREVOSE, PA – July 27, 2020 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced it’s transforming its 2020 Power Summit into a virtual event that will be free, online and available to all ASI members in the promotional products industry.
In light of the travel restraints and health risks associated with the coronavirus crisis, ASI is changing its scheduled California in-person event into promo’s premier virtual event, Power Summit Live, taking place on Thursday, October 22, from 12-5 p.m.
“Everything you’d expect from the ASI Power Summit – powerful keynotes, game-changing global strategies, in-depth learning, boundary-pushing debates and valuable industry connections – will be integral to our virtual event,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. “We’re not letting the coronavirus stop us from delivering our 14th annual five-star event, with the same senior-level power players and peer-to-peer discussions. We’re living in a new reality and it’s up to all of us to work together to enjoy the very best virtual experience we can. I hope everyone joins us for what I promise will be an outstanding event.”
The exclusive event is free to all ASI members. Visit asipowersummit.com to register.
The 2020 Power Summit Live will focus on helping suppliers and distributors get back to business, rejuvenate moribund strategies and prepare for growth in 2021 and beyond. Preliminary agenda topics include how to tackle a shrunken client base and target emerging markets while confronting the new economic reality wrought by the ongoing health and economic crisis.
This event will include speakers who are business and growth experts from inside and outside the industry, exclusive ASI data and research, and shorter, faster sessions designed to keep people engaged and make efficient use of their time. Networking is a hallmark of the brick-and-mortar Power Summits, and this event will offer the same unique opportunities to connect with peers and industry experts through breakout rooms for quick meetups. Interactivity with other attendees will occur throughout the event.
And, in keeping with a tradition that began in 2006, ASI will also unveil the 2020 Power 50, an exclusive list that annually spotlights executives from distributor and supplier companies, as well as industry outsiders, who wield considerable power and influence in a global marketplace. The Power 50 list will be revealed during a virtual cocktail reception to wrap up the event.
“Get ready for high-level content, up-to-the-minute business strategies and expert advice designed specifically to help promo companies survive the current crisis and prepare for economic recovery,” said Andrews. “I’m online and I’m in! Are you?”
The in-person 2021 ASI Power Summit remains scheduled for October 17-19, 2021, at The Langham-Pasadena in Pasadena, CA.
