TREVOSE, PA – January 21, 2011 – The Advantages Roadshow, the largest and best-attended traveling show in the advertising specialty industry, drew nearly 670 distributors to the Southeastern cities of Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville and Memphis this week.
The impressive exhibitor list for the Southeast I leg of the 2011 tour included:
Attendees said they loved the show.
“We just love the efficiency and ease of the traveling roadshows,” said supplier Aaron Bradley, of American Greenwood (asi/35500). Added supplier Jeff Flowers, of Gill Line (asi/56950): “We get to talk to hundreds of distributors and really show off our products in a meaningful way.”
“I never miss a roadshow if I can help it,” said distributor Graydean Laughter, of Promotions R Us (asi/301407). “It’s a super-fun, super-effective way to see a maximum number of products in a short amount of time – without the hassle or expense of a long trip to a far-off show.”
A total of 191 attendees also enjoyed free education designed to help them sell in any economic environment. Sessions included “Getting Started in the Advertising Specialty Industry,” for new distributors who want to sell promotional products; the “Exhibitor Presents” session, featuring hot products; and the all-new “Increase Sales and Streamline Your Operations With Insider Tips on ESP Web and ESP Orders” session, which outlined the instant access, intelligent search, innovative marketing and integrated ordering features of these new services.
The “Getting Started” and “Exhibitor Presents” classes can be applied toward certification credit in the Advertising Specialty Institute Certification Program. In addition, new distributors get a free ASI Distributor Success System (value $399) for attending the “Getting Started” and ESP classes.
The show co-located with the Stitches Roadshow in Atlanta, allowing attendees and exhibitors to experience two shows in one and providing decorators with opportunities to meet equipment, software, supply and service providers face-to-face, see new wearables vendors, enjoy valuable education and network with other decorators.
Additionally, the brand-new ASI Holiday Preview Tour will visit Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta and Philadelphia this fall. Featuring a full-day schedule, including education, tabletop exhibits and a networking reception, the ASI Holiday Preview Tour is the perfect place to prepare for the busy fourth quarter.
