Distributors qualify for end-quantity pricing through electronic ESP Orders
TREVOSE, PA – March 15, 2017 –The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI) today announced a number of top suppliers now offer distributors the least expensive end-quantity pricing (EQP) for promotional products ordered electronically through ESP® Orders.
ASI’s flagship product, the e-commerce-enabled technology platform ESP, manages the industry’s entire supply and marketing chain. Starting today, Hit Promotional Products (asi/61125), SanMar (asi/84863), Brighter Promotions (asi/42016), Leed’s (asi/66887), Trimark (asi/92121), Gemline (asi/56070) and Evans Manufacturing (asi/52840) now offer EQP on all connected lines in ESP.
Pricing is automatically applied when suppliers invoice the distributors. Further, participating suppliers agree to offer EQP for a minimum of 90 days.
“This is a significant financial incentive that can benefit the entire promotional products industry,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. “By offering the best possible price on their products as a thank-you for placing e-commerce orders, these top suppliers are proving they are serious about working with distributors in the most efficient, cost-effective way possible – within the industry’s number-one selling tool, ESP.”
Distributors can now unlock EQP from top suppliers and access real-time ordering and tracking through an orange e-commerce order button visible when they log on to ESP.
“Gemline is committed to continue its customer-first philosophy by investing in ESP technology to ensure seamless delivery of service to our customers while increasing speed and accuracy,” said Jonathan Isaacson, president and CEO of Gemline. “This will allow our customers the ultimate flexibility when ordering online, freeing them up to place orders when it is convenient for them and streamlining it from start to finish. The technology also allows for simultaneous updates on products and pricing as they occur, so there is never a worry that information is outdated. We’re proud to be part of this partnership that will help move the entire industry forward.”
Eric Shonebarger, chief information officer of Hit Promotional Products, said electronic ordering through ASI’s ESP platform provides customers a seamless way to produce accurate and complete purchase orders, which in turn eliminates much of the costs associated with traditional purchase orders due to manual follow-ups and incomplete or inaccurate information. “We’re delighted that Hit customers using ESP can check inventory, order status, view tracking information and place orders, all without leaving ESP,” said Shonebarger.
ASI estimates that distributor savings on order processing time amounts to an average of $625 a month, up to $7,500 a year.
As of today, over 100 suppliers – a mix of top 40, mid-sized and small companies – are in the process of integrating with ASI’s ESP, with 870 suppliers providing inventory info in ESP.
ASI distributors are also enjoying the benefits of the new ESP CRM and Orders , which allows distributors to easily add existing contacts and view all past conversations by clicking on a company’s profile, where all orders, quotes and shared presentations pop into view, simplifying re-orders.
Since it’s synced with ESP’s robust product database, the new ESP Orders auto-populates all product data, eliminating rekeying of information. Visit www.searchESP.com to start using all of ESP’s latest features.
