Five to Launch Two New Channels

Five confirmed today its plans to launch two new television channels on Freeview this Autumn.

Five US will be mainly dedicated to American shows, film and sports, whilst Five Life will broadcast women orientated programs.

In statement, Five Chief Executive Jane Lighting said: "We believe these two new channels will play to our programming strengths, highlighting genres in which we have an acknowledged track record".
