Richard E. Grant's directorial debut Wah-Wah will open the East London Film Festival on 27th April.
Don't miss The Death of Mr Lazarescu, Romanian writer-director Cristi Puiu's profoundly moving 150-minute masterpiece. It has screened at festivals around the world (including London) since making a big impression at Cannes 2005, and no UK theatrical release has been confirmed. Catch it on Sunday 30th April.
Grant will be director-in-residence (Stephen Woolley is producer-in-residence) for the nine-day event.
The aim is to foster new talent as well as showcase famous names. It's supported by the UK Film Council and 3 Mills Studios.
