BAFTA are launching a 60 second film competition for its 60th birthday. The competition is open to anyone over 16 years of age and the theme is "celebrate". Each BBC region will screen the top 5 films with the public voting for their favourite one. The shortlisted 15 finalists will be whisked to stay in a top London hotel suite and get to walk the red carpet when their film is shown in Covent Garden Piazza. The BAFTA Panel will choose the overall winner and the film will be shown during the televised film awards.
