“Our goal as an organization is to make our members more successful, and that translates to helping them make more sales at higher profits,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president and chief executive officer of ASI. “ASI SalesPro will make that happen by helping suppliers market themselves, identify hot prospects and put a process in place that helps them focus on key opportunities and top accounts.”
The new technology will include the core ASI services vital to members’ success, including ESP Web version for suppliers and ESP Updates used to add, edit or delete product information; ASI MediaStats for ROI reports on advertising; and a direct connection to all current news and upcoming trends that impact the promotional products industry.
Using ASI SalesPro, suppliers will have a complete contact and lead management system that will help them close more business and provide accurate forecasting. Every individual salesperson in an organization will be able to easily send out personalized e-mail campaigns with tracking and analytics.
ASI expects to announce general rollout plans to suppliers in September, with initial availability anticipated for the fourth quarter.
In July, ASI announced the upcoming launch of ASI SmartSales – a customized Oracle-powered technology platform designed exclusively for distributors and decorators. ASI, the industry leader in sales and marketing tools for over 60 years, teamed with Oracle, a worldwide database and software innovator for over three decades, to build an industry-specific technology platform designed to fundamentally change the way suppliers and distributors communicate, collaborate and nurture their business relationships.
