Production Diary - day three
Thursday 18th May 2006

Well here we are again with the production diary.
Yesterday was set aside filming inside the Apollo Cinema in Fareham, where we have our premiere on July 15th, for some filler shots in Fareham and then onto the woods for some filler shots there during the evening.
Things went well at the cinema, who have been very helpful and are doing 'their bit' for charity. The filler shots were going well, until those in 'New Look' decided that they didn't want our cameras outside their store. This is fine by us, sometimes people don't want that, but the way that they did it was not needed. Obviously, not everybody likes to help charity, even when it is costing them nothing.
We arrived at the location of 'The Eye', only to be greeted by a torrential downpour. There was no way that we could shoot as this would have caused many problems for the equipment and the actors, especially the spirit actors, whose makeup would have run considerably. We will be attempting this shoot again this evening, but if it is similar weather, we will be using an alternative indoor scene, which I will be writing after completing this shooting diary.
Overall, things are going well, we just have to ensure that we are able to complete all of the scenes for our actors before they have to leave. We do not have all of our actors for the first two weeks, primarily because we are providing them with accommodation and we have four at a time, staying with us in a two-bedroom bungalow.
